Submit Improvements in Toledo Fire Forces

Several changes looking to the improvement of the fire department of Toledo, Ohio, are made in its first administrative survey, by the publicity and efficiency commission of the city, submitted to the city council on February 19. Among other important recommendations are that the charter section providing for an 8 hour day for city employees under which the 3-platoon system for the fire department was voted in 1919 be submitted to the citizens for another vote at the November election.
