SEWERAGE
The committee on drainage, of Milton, Mass., is now considering plans for a system. The plan provides that the system be divided into four sections and the estimated cost of each section is as follows: East Milton, $76,925; Central avenue, $60,254; Mattapan, $89,241; Milton Lower Mills, $2,000; total. $208,420. It is proved for the East Milton system to enter into the Boston sewer at the Granite Bridge station of the Shawmut branch and the other systems into the proposed extension of the Boston sewer at Mattapan.
The Court of Errors and Appeals, of New Jersey, has reversed the decision of the Supreme Court in the ease re cently submitted to it as to the right of South Orange to utilize the sewage farm that it had bought near Milburn. South Orange is now free to go ahead with its system.
