San Antonio Fire Academy Graduates First Class
The San Antonio Fire Academy of the San Antonio, Texas, Fire Department held its first official public graduation exercise on October 17, 1947.
Forty-three apprentice firemen, including Chief Andres Escamilla of Monterrey, N. L. Mexico, who came to the school as a volunteer fireman, were graduated with honors.
