THERE are two things essential in the development of a training program for city firemen. One is that they have information about their job and that this information be in form to use, and the other is that they know how to give the information to others. In the December 10 issue of FIRE ENGINEERING, there was an article on the subject of a systematic training program for firemen which concerned itself mostly with how to teach; in other words, how to put over the information that the average fireman possesses about his job.
