Lockport, N. Y., says a current news item, may have an auto fire truck. The sum of $4,000 has been set aside for the purchase of a new aerial truck, and Commissioner Daniel A. Kline has been investigating the matter and found that an Ohio city ran a truck for two weeks to 52 fires on a cost of $14. Horses could not be fed for that amount, he says.
