At the annual meeting of the Lenox, Mass., water company, George E. Turnane was elected director to succeed the late F. Augustus Schermerhorn.
Captain Charles Coulson has accepted the post of city engineer of Welland. Ont., and will at once enter upon his duties. His first wmrk will be to proceed with the construction of a number of sewers already authorized by the city but delayed by the war.
