November Fire Losses
Estimated fire losses in the United States during November amounted to $80,481,000, the National Board of Fire Underwriters has reported.
According to Lewis A. Vincent, NBFU’s general manger, this $80,481,000 loss represents a decrese of 0.8 per cent from losses of $81,121,000 reported for October, 1956, and an increase of 17 per cent over losses of $68,784,000 reported for November, 1955.
