November Fire Losses
Estimated fire losses in the United States during November amounted to $68,064,000, it was reported by the National Board of Fire Underwriters.
According to Mr. Lewis A. Vincent, NBFU’s general manager, this $68,064,000 loss represents an increase of 4.5 per cent over losses of $65,129,000 reported for November, 1952, and a decrease of 0.7 per cent from losses of $68,551,000 for October (1953).
