New York Firemen’s Cycle Club’s New Officers

The New York Firemen’s Cycle Club, comprising the most active buffs in touch with the New York Fire Department nominated officers for 1926, at a meeting held in the home of the club’s “janitor,” No. 47 West 85th street.

As the nominations were not contesed. the candidates are as, good as elected. Michael J. McNamara, retired captain of Engine Co. 56 on West 83rd Street, who has been vice-president of the club for several years, was elected president to succeed the late assistant chief of department, Joseph Crawley. Chief Crawley died last January and his chair was not filled for the balance of the year. Capt. McNamara is one of the department’s veterans. He was one of the charter members of the Cycle Club, thirty years ago.
