N. F. P. A. Holds Convention
The annual convention of the National Fire Protection Association was held in Milwaukee, Wis., May 28-June 1. Reports presented by the various committees indicate that the smoking: hazard is increasing due to the number of women smokers, immediate measures are necessary to curb the number of fires on large passenger liners, the reporting of fires should be made compulsory as are automobile accidents, and there is need for better fire prevention laws.
