More Electrolysis.

By this mail I send you an addition to the rapidly increasing mass of evidence on the electrolysis question, in the shape of a sample of earth taken from near a lead service pipe under one of the trolley lines here. The pipe in question shows deep pits Over its entire surface, the injury being noticeably greater near the tracks, and diminishing towards the curb line. In general appearances the pipe does not differ from those of which illustrations have already appeared in your columns, nor from those of which unfortunately, we have already a number on hand ourselves.
