On June 20 the new Gaynor Electric Company was formed by a consolidation of the Louisville Electric Company and Gaynor Electric Company for the purpose of manufacturing the Gaynor rapid fire system and the Gaynor police patrol system, the Gaynor motors and dynamos, the Louisville Le Clanche battery, and many other specialties of which they ho d the patents. They will also keep a complete stock of electrical supplies, and keep up a general electrical machine shop. This fire alarm system is in thirty cities in the United States and Canada, and has everywhere given great success. The company is capitalized at $100,000. and has one of the largest and best equipped fire alarm plants in this country.
