The Bangor Extension ladder Company have just shipped two more of their famous ladders to Minneapolis, Minn. Chief Stetson has several of these ladders in use, and likes them very much.
The second-size Hayes Truck, built for Lancaster, Pa., was tested at Elmira, N. Y., last week. Auburn and Buffalo Fire Department officials witnessed the working of the apparatus, which was managed by Mr. Hayes himself.
