Residents of Summerville, Ga., are installing meters, in accordance with the recent ordinance, which limits the time for installation till April 1. The schedule of prices is 20 cents for the first 1,000 gal. and a graduated scale for the next 500, and so on.

A local paper of Scranton, Pa., says that on April 1 the Scranton Water company will introduce the meter system in that city. The president of the company declares that the minimum charge for one faucet will be $6 per annum. He adds that for this sum an abundant supply will be furnished for all ordinary household poses.
