The new Silsby steam fire engine contracted for by the city of Gloucester will be publicly tested there on Saturday, the date of the issue of this paper, at two o’clock in the afternoon.
Frank M. Baker & Co., the well-known manufacturers and dealers in ribbon badges and fire supplies, at Owego, are doing a good business. Mr. Baker has a fine hand-book and catalogue of ribbon badges, gold and silver trimmings and supplies, a copy of which, we believe, he would be glad to send to any fireman on application.
