March Fire Losses
Estimated dollar losses caused by fires in the United States totaled $126,449,000 in March, the National Board of Fire Underwriters reported.
This was an increase of 6.4 per cent over $118,852,000 for February 1964 and a decline of 8 per cent under $137,382,000 for March 1963, said Lewis A. Vincent, NBFU general manager.
