Last Friday, Chicagofirefightersresponded to a fatal auto accident on the Kennedy Expressway, and areafire photographer Steve Redickshared some photos of the extrication operations at the scene.
According to Redick, one person was killed in the wreck. Crews apparently used battery-operated spreaders along with other tools in theextrication. Other photos showed the appartus placement during operations.
