Chicago fire photographerSteve Redickmade a recent buffing trip to Detroit, and managed to capture operations at a fire involving multiple structures.
According to Redick, he and his team encountered a rapidly spreading fire involving two dwellings that had not been reported. After calling the fire in, the photographers were able to observe operations throughout all phases of the fire, from pre-arrival to collapse. Fire crews protected several nearby occupied residences from the flames.
