WATCH towers throughout the East Bay cities section in California protect the community from disastrous forest fires. The latest tower has been erected on Round Top. the highest peak in the Contra Costa hills back of Oakland and a complete fire-fighting unit is in operation under the general supervision of the Department of Forestry.
