Georgia Arson School
The first annual School for Arson Investigators was held in Atlanta, Ga. on June 7 and 8 under the auspices of the Georgia State Fire College and the Atlanta Fire Department. It was attended by about fifty fire officers from throughout the state, who pronounced it a decided success.
The school was organized by Harry Phillips, Director of the State Fire College and retired Atlanta Fire Marshal, and Lt. Roy Parker, who is Arson Investigator for the Atlanta Fire Department. Lt. Parker served as Chairman.
