The Perfection nozzle-holder has been adopted for general use in the New York and Brooklyn departments, this city having some sixty or more now in service.
The ordinance appropriating $50,000 to put a portion of the wires of the fire alarm and police telegraph of Baltimore under ground has been passed by tne First Branch of the City Council.
