FIRE DEPARTMENT DOINGS
The local fire company of Blackwood, N. J., is planning to buy the old Baptist church property, that has been unused for years, to convert into a fire hall.
The wives and daughters of the Dominion Chiefs while in session at St. Thomas, Ont., organized as a “Women’s Auxiliary of the Dominion Fire Chiefs’ Association.” The purpose of the association is primarily to educate the children along lines of conservation of life and property from fire.
