From reports covering the United States and Canada the estimated losses by fire during the week ended October 14, 1918, aggregated $2,634,650, as compared with $2,550,000 for the corresponding week in 1917.
The firemen of Anderson, Ind., have received a 10 per cent, increase of pay. beginning October 1st.
