CHICO, CAL.—Contract for second-size steam tire engine, Metropolitan type, has been awarded to the American-La France Fire Engine Company, of Elmira, N. Y., $5,750.
NEW YORK, N. Y.—Bids have been received for furnishing and delivering two gasoline propelled and pumping engines from Webb Fire Apparatus Company, $16,500; Waterous Fire Engine Company, $17,000.
