Fire Bids Opened
New Castle, Ind.—The city council has awarded contract for 2,000 feet of fire hose to the Boston Woven Hose & Rubber Co., through its agent, Joseph E. Larkin, of Dayton, O.
Victoria, B. C.—The contract has been awarded to the Seagrave Co., of Brantford, Ont., by the city for the supply of motor apparatus for the fire department, including one combination chemical and hose wagon, one double 60-gallon chemical auto and one chassis for each of the steamers and trucks now at headquarters. Total cost, $20,075.
