Ex-Chief Sheehan of West Orange Dead
James J. Sheehan, formerly Chief of the West Orange, N. J., Fire Department, died July 10 at the Orange Memorial Hospital following an operation. He was seventy-one years old. Mr.Sheehan was one of the first three paid firemen in West Orange and he joined the service in 1394. Six months later he was appointed Chief. He served at that post until he retired in 1926.
