Drug Store Fires Discussed by Westchester Chiefs

One of the most interesting and well attended meetings of the Fire Chiefs’ Emergency Plan of Westchester County, N. Y., was held at Fire Headquarters, White Plains, N. Y., on the evening of Wednesday, February 15. The attendance was 165, including Fire Commissioners from outlying Westchester municipalities. These included: Fire Commissioners Brennan, White Plains; Arthur Loucks, Larchmont; Frank Hand, Mount Vernon; Charles Jahne, Anderson and Flink, Pleasantville; T. A. Rushforth, Peekskill; Hotaling, Briarcliff Manor, and George J. Hoffman, Hartsdale.

The Plan was welcomed by Chief Abbot Griffen, who introduced Fire Commissioner W. A. Brennan, White Plains. President Woolley announced that the date of the annual dinner would be May 17, and said that there were prospects of an excellent program of entertainment for that occasion. He referred to the gratifying number of municipalities which had signified intention of taking sustaining memberships in the Plan.
