A Denver (CO)firefighterhas died from injuries he sustained on the fireground during an incident last month.
KUSA reports that John Whelan, a 15-year veteran of the Denver Fire Department, fell through a skylight while fighting a fire on June 28.
The report said he was taken to a medical facility about 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday with shortness of breath, and died less than an hour later after going into cardiac arrest.
