September 9-11—The National Association of Fire Investigators will sponsor the 25th ANNUAL TRAINING SEMINAR ON DETERMINING THE CAUSE AND ORIGIN OF FIRES, ARSON, AND EXPLOSIONS. The seminar will be held at the Bismarck Hotel in Chicago, III. Lectures will cover the following subjects: the chemistry of fire and the characteristics of fire behavior, fire patterns analysis, searching the fire and explosion scene, and more.
