Correction
In the October issue of FIRE ENGINEERING it was stated that William H. Frank, Jr., was Chief of the Poughkeepsie, N. Y., Fire Department before he became State Fire Coordinator. This is an error, as Irv D. Merrick has been Chief for the past year, succeeding Chief Chris W. Noll, who passed away in the Fall of 1942.
