CONFERENCE NOTES
One of the highlights of the technical program was the showing of motion pictures of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Nagasaki and Bikini. Although the films were held up until all speakers had completed their talks on Thursday, and although the noon hour had been reached, no one left the hall while these remarkable films were run off. It proved a fitting climax to this interesting session of the convention.
The huge attendance at all technical sessions of the program was nothing short of amazing. Despite the many counter-attractions in the City of New York, it is estimated that over ninety per cent of the active members of the Associations were present at each business session. Even on the last day, when many are anxious to complete the program and start home, the attendance showed no noticeable decrease.
