YANKEE COACH INC., which specializes in the custom production of ambulances and emergency vehicle equipment, has been purchased by the American Modular Body Corp. of Smithfield, Rhode Island.
Under American Modular, Yankee Coach will remain in Palmer, Massachusetts, and plans call for the expansion of operations and the hiring of additional staff.
