作为participa的一部分tion in the 92nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Fire Chiefs in Miami, Fla., American LaFrance is offering to the chiefs free aerial sight-seeing rides aboard the famous Goodyear Blimp. Goodyear has made the Blimp available to American LaFrance for the three days of the convention. Representing American LaFrance will be Marty Alves, vice president and general manager; Walter J. Rainer, vice president in charge of marketing; as well as other top officials.
Announcement was made by C. F. Reininger, president and general manager of Powhatan Brass & Iron Works, Ranson, W. Va., and Harry E. Figge, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of “Automatic” Sprinkler Corporation of America, that an agreement had been reached approving the sale of the capital stock of Powhatan to “Automatic.”
