Christie Tractors
Reports from the Front Drive Motor Company, of Hoboken. N. J., show that the Christie tractor is fast becoming a factor in the change of horse propelled apparatus. In addition to the large number of tractors which the company has furnished the City of New York, five more engines have been ordered equipped with them. Orders have also been recivcd from Rochester, N. Y., Chicago, Ill., and Somerville, Mass., for tractors to engines and Chicago has contracted for a Christie tractor for one of its 75-foot aerial trucks. Last week the company delivered engines equipped with Christie tractors to Frederick, Md., and Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Illustrations of these tractors may be seen on the inside cover of this issue.
