Chief T. F. Dougherty Writes Book
Thomas F. Dougherty, Acting Chief of the New York Fire Department, has written a book “Fire" in collaboration with Paul W. Kearney.
The announcement need not be a startling one. It is rather surprising that a man of such wide experience, could refrain for so long from putting on paper some of the information that he had gained as the result of fighting fires for forty-three years.
