Bellfonte, Pa., having been selected as the place for holding the seventh annual convention of the Central Pennsylvania Firemen’s association, there was a large gathering on hand. John M. McSully, the president, was in the chair. The parade was made up of twenty companies; 1,000 firemen and five hands taking part in it. The tournament comprised the usual events and the prizes offered were from $25 to $100. The officers elected for the ensuing year were as follows: President, IT. G. Ogden, Clearfield; vicepresidents, J. 1). Weaver, Dubois, Charles Davey, Phillipsburg; Secretary, W. C. Langford Houtzdalc; treasurer, F. W. Greebs, Phillipsburg. The next place of meeting will be at Clearfield. Four new companies were added to the association.
