April Fire Losses
Estimated fire losses in the United States during April amounted to $106,144,000, the National Board of Fire Underwriters reported.
Losses for the first four months of 1962 now total $469,894,000, an increase of 7.1 per cent from the first four months of 1961, when they amounted to $438,506,000, according to Lewis A. Vincent, NBFU's general manager.
