Alcohol Found in Fire Ruing

Firemen in Norfolk who searched the ruins of an old stone mansion following a fire in that building, discovered a distilling outfit and 2,200 gallons of alcohol. No bodies were discovered in the ruins and it is the belief of the fire authorities that the family occupying the house had escaped immediately after the first blast.

A slight preliminary blast which was followed by two terrific blasts at ten minute intervals, was the forerunner to the fire which destroyed the building. In addition to the alcohol and still a complete bottling outfit was found with bottles labeled "Booth’s Extra Dry Gin.”
