An Alexandria (VA) Fire Department paramedicinjured in a fall duringan incident yesterday has died.
Authorities confirmed to wjla.com Thursday evening that Joshua Weissman died at about 4:25 p.m. (http://wj.la/AEhF6m)
As related in a previous article, Weissman was responding to a vehicle fire on an overpass of I-395. Weissman reported jumped a guardrail while attempting to cross the highway. He fell through a gap in the roads, dropping approximately 20-30 feet into a creek below.
Members of his department rushed to his rescue and provided CPR. He was transported to an area medical facility in critical condition.
