West Valley firefighters battled an apartment complex fire which broke out at about 9:40 a.m. on Sunday morning, according toa report from the The Salt Lake Tribune.
Thereportindicates that the fire began in an unoccupied first-floor apartment which was being repaired and damaged approximately 12 apartments. The fire quickly reached the third floor and forced firefighters to rescue people out of windows. Officials estimate that the damage totalled approximately $150,000.
