A two-alarm fire in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood near Golden Gate Park that threatened a neighboring building is under control, reports CBS San Francisco (http://cbsloc.al/1VoBlRa)
The fire at 1210 Fourth Ave. at Lincoln Way was reported at 10:35 a.m. and was declared under control at 11:32 a.m., according to fire department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge.
The fire appears to have begun on the second floor of the building and extended to the third floor, Talmadge said.
A second alarm was called because a building at 253 Lincoln Way was threatened by the fire. Talmadge did not yet know whether that building also sustained damage in the fire.
