A firefighter was hurt in an early morning fire that damaged four homes in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
The firefighter was treated at an area hospital for unspecified injuries, according to a report from thePittsburgh Post-Gazette(http://bit.ly/YyVFGR).
The fire destroyed one home, significantly damaged two others, and did some cosmetic damage to a fourth. More than seven local fire companies responded to the incident.
Firefighters faced the extra challenge of dealing with downed power lines on the fire scene.
“It just changed our tactics a little bit,” McKeesport Fire Captain Jim Shields said of the power lines. “We just have to work around them.”
