Greeley (CO) Firefighters Rescue One from House Fire

Overnight fire units responded to a house fire with one party trapped inside just after 10:50 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 3500 block of 35th Avenue. A Ladder 5 crew arrived and initiated a search inside the home, according to a Greeley Fire Department Facebook post.

During the search, personnel located and removed one adult from the burning home, the post said. UCHealth EMS transported the injured adult to the hospital.

Greeley fire crews cleared the scene about 1:30 a.m.

The department has responded to 11 working structure fires within the first five weeks of 2022, which is a higher number compared to 2021 during that timeframe, according to Greeley fire. Data reports indicated the department responded to five structure fires in Greeley within the first five weeks of last year.
