According to a report fromThe Baltimore Sun, four children, from ages 5 to 13, are hospitalized in serious condition after being rescued from a rowhouse fire in the Madison-Eastend neighborhood of East Baltimore Friday morning, Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734.
The children were transported to the John Hopkins Children’s Center for treatment, Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734 wrote in a social media post.
Baltimore City Fire Department (BCFD) crews rescued the children after arriving at the 2900 block of E. Monument Street and seeing smoke emanating from the two-story rowhouse.
Further details about the incident were not immediately available, and the BCFD has not responded to questions Friday morning.
