FL Firefighter, Pedestrian Injured in Crash

A Brevard County (FL) firefighter and a pedestrian were critically injured Tuesday morning after they were struck by a car during a highway incident.

According to the loal FOX affiliate (http://bit.ly/sMQ9VI), a motorist slammed into a pole, causing wires to fall across the road. The firefighter was among those who responded to the scene of the initial crash, and was standing with two civilians. Another car came and struck the pole, pulling the car around and causing it to strike a firefighter and one of the other people.

The pair are in critical condition.
