Firefighters Respond to 3-Alarm Bronx (NY) Fire

Firefighters from the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) battled a three-alarm fire in the Mt. Hope section of the Bronx Sunday morning March 23.

Fire broke out just before 10:30am in a men’s shoe store on the corner of E. Burnside Avenue and Walton Avenue and quickly spread to adjoining stores.

More than 150 firefighters were on the scene at the height of the blaze, which was brought under control around 2:30pm.

There were no serious injuries reported.
