A fire occurred early Tuesday at aduplexin Minneapolis, Minnesota, leaving 24 people without at home.
It was the second fire in as many hours at the location, according to a report from theStar Tribune(http://bit.ly/Usk5fd). Family members speculated that the two fires might be connected, but fire officials would only say it was under investigation.
Firefighters initially came to the duplex about 10:30 p.m. and left afterthermal imagingfound no fire, Assistant Minneapolis Fire Chief Cherie Penn told reporters. At 12:21 a.m., the family called 911 again when smoke was billowing out of thebasementandfire spreadinginto the building’s walls.
