Fire Service joins FEMA`s Project Impact
The fire service community has joined the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Project Impact--an initiative that is creating active public-private partnerships to help build disaster-resistant communities. FEMA Director James Lee Witt and 20 organizations representing the fire service signed an agreement in April forming the Project Impact Fire Services Partnership for Disaster Prevention.
