A fast-moving fire destroyed one home along Lake Washington (WA), badly damaged another, and four others received varying degrees of damage, reports the Associated Press.
A painter working on the house where the fire began was in stable condition at Harborview Medical Center with burns to the face and hands. A firefighter was taken to the hospital with heat exhaustion.
