Canadian Firefighter Disciplined for Lowering Flag on 9/11

A senior firefighter in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, has been disciplined for flying the station’s flag at half-mast last month to commemorate the 9/11 attacks on New York City, according toa news report. The unidentified firefighter did so against orders and faces unspecified disciplinary action. The fire department had asked the city for permission to lower the flag and had been denied, officials said.
